Bear River Winter Youth Basketball League

A Kings Junior Partner & Sierra Foothills Youth Basketball Conference

In its 22nd year, this fun, recreational league is for 2nd through 8th grade players. There are separate boys and girls divisions. Grades 2nd & 3rd, 7th & 8th and other grades may be combined in divisions. This league is for those who want to learn the game and the skills to succeed and have FUN. Requests for specific team assignments will be given consideration. Practices start the week of November 14th. Games start Saturday, January 7th. Includes a free sport pac picture for every player. Games are held on Saturdays for eight weeks. Experienced referees at every game. Practice times & rosters to be completed by November 14th. Coaches will notify their players. Non-scuff basketball shoes, red jerseys and dark shorts required. The Sierra Foothills Youth Basketball Conference members are Auburn Recreation District & Georgetown Divide Recreation District. BRRPD practices and home games will be at Magnolia Intermediate School Gyms. Interleague games will be played at sites and schools around Placer County.

Volunteer Coaches Needed! Coaches' Meeting will be Saturday, November 5th, 9:00 a.m. and/or Sunday, November 6th, 1:00 p.m. Volunteer Coaches need to attend one meeting.                   NEW! NAYS (National Association of Youth Sports training.)

Deep enough for flip-turns!  No more scraped knees or forehead!

"Normal" length and width!  Workouts available.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 7:45 - 9:15 p.m.

Selected Saturdays, Noon - 3:00 p.m. or Sundays, Noon - 3:00 p.m.

Register in advance Required. Bear River High School pool.

Monthly Swim Pass (18 Dates): 9/7- 10/7: $50.00

(Dates: 9/7; 9/9; 9/11(Sun); 9/12, 9/14, 9/16, 9/18(Sun.), 9/19, 9/21, 9/23, 9/24 or 25 (TBD), 9/26, 9/28, 9/30, 10/1 or 10/2 TBD, 10/3, 10/5, 10/7.

Register ONLINE and PICK-UP pass at the pool. Bring printed receipt.


FALL Flag Football 2016! - Fall 2016

Players needed from ages 5-13. Practices on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday after 3:15 pm, games on Saturday or Sunday afternoon on the Gary Clarke Turf Field. One or more practices or games per week. (No games  Thanksgiving weekend.) Bring your “other sport” teams and play, rain or shine! It’s flag football season! Team jersey if needed. Bear River Bears. All players must also register with NFL Flag Football League.
